Privacy Preferences

Google Analytics measures public exploration and minimal action outcomes, including Save and Collection completion, without private content or account identifiers. Essential features work either way.

Terms of Use

Effective from Webernaut’s public community launch. Adopted October 20, 2026; account-deletion clarification adopted October 21, 2026.

Welcome to Webernaut. We're here to help people discover, save and share interesting websites. These Terms explain the basic rules for using the service.

About Webernaut

Webernaut is operated by an individual in British Columbia, Canada. For questions about the service or these Terms, contact hello@webernaut.com.

You can browse public Discoveries, Finds and Collections without an account. Creating Collections, saving content, submitting Finds, reviewing categories, Liking or Remixing requires a free account.

Accounts and responsible use

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Keep your sign-in information secure and provide accurate information where requested. Don't impersonate others, misuse someone else's account, manipulate community reviews or use Webernaut to spam, threaten or harm others.

We may restrict submissions, visibility or accounts when necessary to protect users, respect rights or enforce our Community Content Rules. You can ask us to review a restriction through our reporting process.

Your content and permission to use it

You keep the rights you have in the original titles, descriptions, captions and other material you contribute. Please share only material you're entitled to use. Adding a link to a website does not give you ownership of that website or its images.

You give Webernaut a narrow, non-exclusive permission only as reasonably necessary to store, process, format, display and publish your contributions through the service features you choose. This includes legitimate Saved-version behavior, independent Remixes with provenance and appropriate source attribution, and moderation, safety, legal and recovery obligations. Publication permission applies when you choose publication.

This permission does not allow Webernaut to sell your writing, use it for unrelated advertising, train models on it or otherwise exploit it outside operating the service.

This permission is limited to operating these features. Webernaut doesn't take ownership of your original work or claim rights in the linked websites themselves. Ordinary removal of an original Collection doesn't automatically undo copies that others legitimately Saved or independently Remixed before removal. More serious privacy, legal, safety or rights issues may justify wider restrictions.

Publishing, saving and Remixing

Your unpublished Collection work and private notes aren't part of the public version. Only an explicit Publish or Publish Update makes your selected public content available to others.

Publishing can create independent public Finds from novel qualifying websites in your Collection. Ordinary unpublication or deletion of the Collection does not automatically remove those Finds. Internal provenance is retained without exposing a private or deleted originating Collection.

When someone Saves a public Collection, they can return to the version they first saved and normally receive subsequent published updates. They may also choose to keep a particular version. Making an original Collection private or deleting it normally ends new public access and new Saves, but existing savers may retain published versions they were entitled to keep.

A Remix is a separate, editable Collection based on an eligible published version. It retains a connection to its source but doesn't automatically include private notes or later changes. Independent Remixes may remain available after ordinary deletion of the original.

Deleting your account removes your private account data, drafts, private Collections, notes, Saved Websites and other personal information. Public contributions you previously chose to publish, including public Finds and Collections, may remain available with neutral attribution. A Collection that is public when you delete your account remains read-only at its last published version, without an active owner or further creator updates. Other people’s legitimate Saved access and independent Remixes remain. Prior Collection-specific removal and stronger privacy, safety, legal, rights or moderation restrictions still apply.

Removing content and reporting concerns

If someone accidentally publishes sensitive information, infringes rights or shares harmful content, we can review a report and restrict or remove affected material. Depending on the issue, that may include Saved versions, Remixes and content delivered through Webernaut-controlled caches. We can't guarantee removal of copies held independently by third parties.

Please use the Report feature or email hello@webernaut.com. See Reporting & Moderation and Copyright, Rights & Takedown.

External websites

Webernaut links to and helps people discover independent third-party websites. We do not operate or control those destinations. Inclusion, descriptions, previews and community contributions are not guarantees or blanket endorsements of everything a destination contains. External content, availability, security and accuracy can change. You visit third-party destinations at your own discretion.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of Webernaut. Liability is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law; these Terms do not exclude responsibilities or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to the service and these Terms

We may update Webernaut and these Terms as the service develops. We'll provide notice of material changes where appropriate or legally required. Applicable legal rights remain in force.
