Copyright, Rights & Takedown

Effective from Webernaut’s public community launch. Adopted October 20, 2026; account-deletion clarification adopted October 21, 2026.

Webernaut links to independent websites and sometimes displays public metadata, thumbnails or screenshots. People can also publish their own descriptions and Collections. We respect creators' rights and review concerns about material available through Webernaut.

Request a review or removal

Email hello@webernaut.com with the subject Copyright or rights concern. Please include, where practical:

  • The exact Webernaut page or image you are concerned about.
  • The work or right you believe is affected.
  • Your connection to that work or authority to act for its owner.
  • A short explanation of the concern and the action you are requesting.
  • A safe way for us to contact you.

Please don't send passwords, excessive personal information or unlawful content as evidence.

What happens next

We'll review the information, ask for clarification if necessary and decide on an appropriate action. This might include correcting credit, changing or removing an image, restricting a website listing or taking down affected material.

A concern about one image or page doesn't automatically mean every website on the same domain should be blocked. Stronger rights, privacy and safety restrictions can also apply to affected Saved versions, Remixes and controlled caches.

If you believe a removal or restriction was mistaken, you can reply with the relevant URL, your explanation and any supporting evidence. Applicable legal notice, counter-notice and appeal procedures will be followed where required.

Contributions and third-party material

Contributors retain rights in their original work and grant only the limited service permissions described in the Terms of Use. Webernaut doesn't claim ownership of linked websites or their third-party imagery. Making a preview available is not itself a claim that every possible reuse would be lawful.

If there is a more specific formal notice procedure required by applicable law, that procedure takes precedence over this general contact guidance.
