The Condition

Cause and effect seem straightforward. A decision is made, an action taken, the moment passes, but the effects continue their dance with the world. Those ripples can reinforce patterns until they shape the landscape itself. As the cause recedes, what began as a consequence slowly becomes a condition. Some patterns persist not because they are still being created, but because they have already been built into the world around them.
